I was inspired by Jimbo at http://jimbosfrontporch.blogspot.com
who had a recent post photo of his favorite whittling bench on the crick on his property. He says "this spot is so peaceful. A great place to sit and get re-acquainted with the really important things that seem to get put aside in city life."
Gosh I wish I had a bench like that, but I don't, I have a computer desk/craft area, and when I look above my computer and see my little stash basket, some favorite hooks, a little yarn, I might get close to that feeling, of the really important things.
Here is my favorite view above my computer.
I'm touched, Pam. You can come and use my bench any ole time. But you also have a little bit of the crick right there, tucked in that pretty ball of yarn.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Pam.
My view isn't that nice at all. I am looking at all computer related stuff. Your view is more relaxing for sure. I checked out Jimbo's view from the porch and it's the kind of place where I would say..no cell phones allowed just give me my rod and let's go fishing!
ReplyDeleteThat's beautiful! I have only computer stuff and a couple project bags, not attractive at all.
ReplyDeleteAll my stuff sits in bags next to my chair. I have to hid my yarn from my 2 cats..lol.. even my hooks!!!
ReplyDeleteOoh, what a nice idea. Once I get all of these library books off of my window ledge, I'll have to do something similar!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the b-day wishes :)
I like your view, but I also like mine. I get to see my family and my favorite Boyds Bear from my view with candles.
ReplyDeleteYour view tells about you Pam! It's so nice!
