This panel is closer to what I'm thinking but I still want better intertwining knotwork ... so I'll continue to twist and knot my yarn.
I'm really surprised there isn't much out there for crocheters and cables; it's all so basic. Maybe I'm not looking in the right places; I've search pattern books, both on-line and at the bookstores, LYS to no avail.
My quest continues...

Pam, I like the top panel better, but both are really nice. What is this going into?! I love the celtic trinity circle design. I have never heard of a quadurple front post, go ahead and make it up and show us! :) Mary
I really like the top one. Where can I find out more about Celtic? I've crocheted all my life and I am learning so many new things from reading everyones pages.
I've never see crocheted cables before!! This is awesome and I'm very impressed!
One comment though . . . can you get the lines to over once and then under the next. A real Celtic cable always alternates . . . over and under, over and under . . . that middle line should go under in the middle (and a couple others too) . . . I have some great books on creating celtic cables if you are interested in knowing the title names.
Hope you don't mind the comment . . . I love your work!!
Thanks for the tip/advice Celtic Knitter! I really want to create authentic Celtic cables, so I'm not going to stop until I'm totally satisfied!
I like them both!
You're right, there isn't much out there at all. I've yet to figure out why as well.
Your squares are wonderful!
