Fuchsia & Blues Jacket

I'm thrilled to announce my design "Fuchsia and Blues Jacket" will be in
Interweave Crochet Magazine Winter 2007.

Seems like ages since I worked on this design! This is a very simple design, easy to crochet and works up quick. The yarn used in this sample bursts of color, a lot of color. It surely captures your attention!

There are several yarn choices with Colinette Prism, I LOVE Neptune and Fire.

Yeah Pam! Congrats! I love the shape of the cardigan, personally I wouldn't put fuschia and blue next to each other but it somehow works. I love colinette yarns, expensive but nice. I used their mohair for a scarf for my SIL. Keep up the good work!

Congrats Pam! Funny, I saw the pic in the mag online before I read your blog and new it was your design, and your jacket was the only thing that I thought I would make! It's lovely and oh so cozy looking!

Congrats-ny mag came in today and I wanna make it (but will have to use something other than the Prism-it's gorgeous, just out of my price range right now).

Thanks everyone! I did get a few notes about the color of yarn chosen for this design and I'll just say I proposed it with Neptune, folks at Interweave chose the final color.

I realize this isn't a super fancy rock your socks design, it is a simple design, and yes the yarn is expensive, I realize that too. For the most part, most comments have been positive, I appreciate that as this is my first magazine design.

Cheers!
