Knit Out and Crochet 2008 - Day 2 Fashion Show

The Season's Best Fashion Show at the Knit Out and Crochet 2008 at the Mall of America was fantastic. The show was broken down into sections; Accessories, Felting, Afghans and Throws, Sweaters, Cardigans, Spring Preview, and Best of Kids and Teens.

Event though I took 80 pictures, I still didn't get all entries, and the pictures above I edited and didn't include all of them. I see a Vashti Braha design the Renaissance Tunic, how funky! Lisa Gentry had a design too, it is the elegant Copper Cabled Caplet from her book "I can't Believe I'm Chain Knitting." The stunning Safari Shawl is by Cari Clement and is from Embellished Crochet. (St. Martin's Press)

I think I'm going to try to figure out how to link each design to it's pattern or book. Stay tuned!

**Update to post**
Linking to the designs in the fashion show is somewhat fruitless. I will however, give you these two links, check them out!

Hey, it's Amy again, the pictures from the fashion show are great, I was in the back row and I saw you up front taking pictures, loved your purple cardigan with the big sleeves! Anyhow, thanks again.

Thanks for the heads up on the "Renaissance Tunic"! I didn't even know the pattern was out anywhere. But thanks especially for posting all the photos of the event. I'm glad you got to connect with so many great people. It really looks like fun!

Great pics! That pink, white, black and yellow summer dress is awsome. I remember seeing the pattern in a magazine, but can't remember which one. Do you know where I can find the pattern for that dress?

Hi Kemisicrafts!
I still have the flyer from the fashion show and I think that the vibrant sundress is in the Summer '07 Knit Simple magazine.

Thanks so much. I ransacked my magazine collection last night for it and forgot about Knit Simple. Thanks again. I love your work!

Oh my gosh! I am soooooooo jealous! I'm a Minnesota native currently living in Florida.....that's just not right is it? :) I really want to thank you for posting all of these gorgeous pics! I've seen quite a few of the designs in books/magazines/online but to see them full length on a person makes them even more tempting. You are so talented!
