It is long enough to be tied in the front.
Or it can be draped over one shoulder.
I had to hold it up to the light so you could see the airy stitch!
The length is fingertip to fingertip. I have noticed a lacy shawl trend, both knit and crochet. Have you made a lacy shawl? Do you have a favorite shawl pattern? I loosely followed a pattern called Seraphina.

De-lurking to say that I am becoming obsessed with lace shawls even though I would never wear one. I have some great silk lace but haven't found a pattern that I love -- may just pick a stitch pattern and wing the design!

This is a beautiful shawl! I haven't knitted or crocheted any lace yet. I really would like to but I'm a little intimidated. I am looking for a project for my newest spinning project of 170 yards of dk weight. Can a beginner crocheter make this shawl or is it too advanced for me?
