Dear Pam, I really like your pattern and instruction photos, that helps so much. I have done booties before, I have a few favorite patterns that are easy. I'm going to add this one to the list of patterns to try!
Hi Pam! I love this pattern! I used an H hook cuz my lil grandbaby is almost 1, so I wanted them to fit her. It worked, I used this exact same pattern but bigger hook and it looks like thye'll fit her! I'm going to visit next weekend! Thanks for the super easy pattern, your photos helped me out so much, especially over the strap. Mary
Thanks for this pattern. I don't like "traditional" booties and this was a perfect update! They were so easy to make for babies that I used a larger yarn (Lion Brand Homespun) and the hook size the yarn called for and with a little adjustment I made a pair of these for me!
I see you put up new directions, I couldn't figure out the sl st but I see that was an error, because I just did the ch 2 and worked back and forth, thanks for the pattern. K

After 35 years of bitter failures in crafts, any crafts, I now admire the first bootie, ready, done and in correct size, finished in one night. And I still have five nights to finish the second one! I thank you, in awe!
thanks for the pattern! my slipper turned out fabulous... i look forward to completing the second one! I made the strap longer and left it loose so I could button it on... so CUTE!
I really liked making these. As a beginnner they were really easy. My first one took me about 1 1/2hrs. and numerous tear outs. just b/c i didn't know what i was doing. But 3 pairs later and i think i have it mastered. the first pair were my I like but just not goo enough. Then the second turned out perfect. and the third i thought well lets please the hubby and make our daughter to be born in march a Camo pair.
